Terms and Conditions

 

Effective as of June 20 2025

By booking a stay at The Little Tropicana, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

​

Reservations and Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

  • The remaining 50% is automatically charged 30 days prior to check-in.

  • All prices are in AUD and include GST (if applicable).

​

Cancellations and Refunds

  • The deposit (first 50%) is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • If you cancel more than 30 days prior to check-in, the final payment will not be charged.

  • If you cancel within 30 days of check-in, 100% of the booking total is forfeited.

  • No refunds are provided for no-shows or early departures.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted via email.

  • Cleaning fees are non-refundable.​

  • ​Booking date changes may be requested more than 30 days before check-in, subject to availability.

Arrivals and Departures

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM unless otherwise arranged.

  • Check-out time: 10:00 AM unless otherwise arranged.

  • Early check-in or late check-out requests require advance notice and are subject to availability.

House Rules

To ensure an enjoyable stay for all, guests are asked to follow these guidelines:

  • No parties, gatherings, or events unless prior written approval is given.

  • No smoking inside the property.

  • No additional overnight guests without prior consent.

  • Pets are not permitted on premises or inside the property.

  • Please be respectful of neighbours and mindful of noise, especially after 10:00 PM.​

    • Violation Penalties:

      • 1st Warning: $250

      • 2nd Warning: $500

      • 3rd Breach: Immediate eviction without refund

    • Neighbours and security have authority to report disturbances. 

  • Guests are expected to leave the property tidy. Excessive mess, damage, or rule violations may result in bond deductions.

 

These rules are in place to protect the peaceful nature of the area and ensure future guests can enjoy the same experience.

Security Deposit

A $500 AUD bond is held and may be used to cover damage, breakages, missing items, excessive cleaning, or breaches of house rules.

Liability

  • The Little Tropicana is not liable for loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during your stay.

  • Guests are responsible for the security of their belongings and are encouraged to obtain travel insurance.

Force Majeure

  • The Little Tropicana is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, or pandemics.

  • In such cases, date changes may be offered, but refunds are not guaranteed.

Marketing Collaborations

  • If you are staying as part of a brand collaboration or marketing agreement, terms will be outlined in writing prior to your stay.

  • Deliverables (e.g. content, posts, stories) must be provided within the agreed time frame.

  • If deliverables are not received or terms are not met, you may be charged the full accommodation rate retroactively.

  • We reserve the right to share, repost, or use any public-facing content created as part of your stay, with credit.

Privacy

  • Guest information is collected solely for communication and operational purposes.

  • We respect your privacy and will never share, sell or misuse your personal details.
